Joyce McCoy Ostermiller was born June 8, 1949 in Soda Springs, Idaho to Raymond J. McCoy and Leslie Skinner McCoy. She was the youngest of three. She was preceded in loss of life by her Father Raymond McCoy, her Mom Leslie Skinner McCoy Benson, her sister Laura Benson, and her son Nathan Brent Ostermiller.
She is survived by her husband Brent Ostermiller White Home, TN, daughters Jennifer Ostermiller of Tokyo, Japan, Julie (Robbie) Coots of Bowling Inexperienced, KY, son Justin (Aimee) Ostermiller of Ocala, FL and a sister Becky Kelly of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Her 7 grandchildren who’ve been the sunshine of her life are Cameron Ostermiller, Carter (Marissa) Cots, Brayden Coots, Cody Ostermiller, Molly Cots, Abby Coots and Cooper Ostermiller. Joyce grew up in Conda, Idaho the place she attended her first two years of college in a one-room-school. She then attended college in Soda Springs the place she graduated in 1967. She attended LDS Enterprise School (now Ensign School) in Salt Lake Metropolis, Utah and obtained a level in Secretarial Science. On June 28, 1968 she and, Brent J. Ostermiller had been married and sealed for time and all eternity within the Idaho Falls, Idaho temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They’ve lived in St. Anthony, Idaho, Provo, Utah, Pocatello, Idaho, Ocala, Florida, Nashville, Tennessee and White Home, Tennessee. Joyce’s pleasure and mission in life has been kids. Elevating and loving her 3 kids, loving and spoiling her 7 grandchildren, and for 50 years instructing kids about Jesus Christ and His mission on earth to actually a whole bunch of kids within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Main, which is this system for youngsters 18 months to 12 years.
