Mr. Garrett was preceded in dying by his spouse Shirley Ann Albert Garrett; his mother and father Robert Elmer and Claudia Almedee (Allie) Hardaway Garrett; Brothers James (J.D.), Porter, Homer, Floyd, Clyde, Roger, and Ray Garrett; and Sister Ruth Garrett Bolton.

Porter Rawls Henderson, age 79, of Fairview, TN and previously of Robertson County, handed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at his house.

A memorial service was held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 12pm within the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Dwelling in Springfield with Reverend Tim Miles officiating.

Visitation was held on the funeral house on September eleventh from 10am till the hour of service at 12pm.

Mr. Henderson was born October 16, 1941 in Springfield to the late William Roy and Jewel Rawls Henderson. He labored greater than 50 years as a truck driver and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Power. Mr. Henderson was an avid Vanderbilt soccer and basketball fan, liked farming, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairview.
