Household-Faculty Liaison Lisa Cobb Honored By Metropolis of Springfield

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn Information) – Robertson County Faculties Household-Faculty Liaison Lisa Cobb was honored on Thursday, July 18, by Springfield Mayor Ann Schneider, because the inaugural recipient of the “Mayor’s Impression Award.”

Schneider introduced the award, a plaque, and a proclamation declaring the day, “Lisa Cobb Day,” in Springfield, Thursday morning.

Amongst different feedback, Schneider referred to as Cobb, “a servant of God who offers again to her neighborhood each day, no matter race, age, and gender.” She continued, noting Cobb has been, “the McKinney-Vento Liaison/Father or mother-Faculty Liaison for over 10 years with Robertson County Faculties.”

The presentation was a shock to Cobb. She responded to the popularity saying she was merely overwhelmed at being singled out for the award.

“I’m so humbled,” she stated. “I’m speechless.” “God has blessed me and I wish to reside as He needs me to reside. I couldn’t do that with out a neighborhood like this.”

“Congratulations to Lisa for the well-deserved recognition from the Metropolis of Springfield. RCS is each proud and lucky to have somebody with the dedication, compassion, and dedication that she shows,” stated Robertson County Faculty’s officers.
