He’s preceded in loss of life by his father, Johnny W. Oliver; maternal grandparents, John & Nelda Perry; paternal grandfather, Johnny Oliver; and uncles, Johnny Perry, and Gary Lee Oliver.
He’s survived by his mom, Tonnie Trotter (Donald Crotzer); sisters, Terri (Kenny) Smith and Chelsea (Scotty) Collins; grandmother, Myrtle Oliver; uncle, Darnell (Susie) Oliver; nieces, Amelia Collins & Kayla Smith; and nephew, Charlie Collins.

Ruby Nevil Covington, age 99, of Portland, TN, handed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at her dwelling.
Graveside companies had been held Friday, October 1, 2021 at 2pm within the Cross Plains Cemetery. Burial adopted with Jay Wright, Jeff Taylor, John Raymond Traughber, Barry Faulkner, Dan Inexperienced and Stephen Yates serving as pallbearers.
Non-public visitation was held on the Austin & Bell Funeral Dwelling in Springfield previous to the graveside service.
Mrs. Covington was born August 16, 1922 in Trimble, TN to the late James Ruben and Leeona Botts Nevil. She labored as a gross sales clerk at Castner Knott and was a member of the Cross Plains United Methodist Church. She was a Cross Plains historian, began Cross Plains Trash and Treasure and the Cross Plains Historic Society, and liked family tree.
Along with her mother and father Mrs. Covington is preceded in loss of life by her husband, James Covington. She is survived by her daughter, Jama Nevil (Nelson) Wright; sisters, Mickey Mullins and Mary Clymer; grandson, Jay (Carie) Wright; great-grandchildren, Sadie Wright and Saylor Wright; 1 nephew; and three nieces.

Mrs. Tanner was born December 19, 1943 in Klamath Falls, OR to the late Charlie F. and Mary Ellen O’Brien Capps. She labored at Johnson Electrical and was of the Baptist religion.
Along with her mother and father Mrs. Tanner is preceded in loss of life by her son, Tony Michael Capps.
Mrs. Tanner is survived by her husband, Terry Tanner; son and daughter-in-law, Terry Roger and Kami Capps; step-son, Terry Lynn Tanner; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Sue and Curtis Morse; step-daughters and step-son-in-law, Mary Lorene and Jackie Wolfe, and Teresa Diane Barber; brother, Jimmy Capps; sisters, Betty Russell and Maggie Evans; and two grandchildren.
