Mrs. Hodges was born September 27, 1937 in Springfield, TN to the late Ewing and Annie Laura Savage Wilson. She was a homemaker and labored at Emerson Electrical.
Along with her dad and mom Mrs. Hodges is preceded in loss of life by her husband, J.D. Hodges, her brother, Carl Wilson, her sister, Betty Jean Rice, and her sister-in-law, Janice Wilson. Mrs. Hodges is survived by her son, Danny Hodges of Clarksville; daughter, Lisa (Dwayne) Miller of Springville, TN; brother, Charles Wilson; sister, Sheila Kay Burton; grandchildren, Ryan Hodges, Stacey Clary, Danielle Fleming and Jarrett Miller; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Jean Apple Hunter, age 89, of Clarksville, handed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Morningside Assisted Residing in Springfield.
Mrs. Hunter was born January 25, 1932 to Bailey J. and Hurl Murphey Apple in Adams, TN. Along with her dad and mom, she is predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Thad Allensworth Hunter, a retiree of Cumberland Electrical Membership Company.
Mrs. Hunter attended Bell Faculty in Adams, TN and have become a Licensed Sensible Nurse for 25 years at Clarksville Memorial Hospital and in addition served as president of the LPN Affiliation. She loved her work very a lot in addition to touring. She was a member of Hilldale united Methodist Church in Clarksville.

Visitation was held on the Austin & Bell Funeral House in Springfield on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 1pm till the hour of service at 2pm with Brother Stephen Sauls officiating. Burial adopted within the Elmwood Cemetery with Chad Hunter, Bailey Hunter, Donnon Holbrooks, Rick Anthony, Dan Glick, Gabe Glick and Caleb Glick serving as pallbearers.
