John Henry Arnold, 83, of White Home, handed away on Sunday October 30, 2022, at his house. Interment will observe in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Danny Eidson, Jonathan Eidson, Kris Arnold, Jeffrey Arnold, Josh Arnold and Anthony DeStephano serving as pallbearers. The household will obtain pals on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. till service time on the funeral house.

Mr. Arnold was born September 30, 1939, in Camden, to the late Burford Eugene and Audie Arlene Caplinger Arnold. He served within the Nationwide Guard, was a retired installer for Lucent Know-how, and was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. Mr. Arnold was a lot beloved by his household, and so they described him as a “child loving, animal loving, grandkids/nice grandkids spoiling, baseball watching superb household man. Paul Douglas Rainwater Sr, 93, of Springfield, TN died peacefully below Alive Hospice care after a brief sickness at his house in Springfield, TN on October 27, 2022. He was born Might 28, 1929, in Orlinda, TN, son of Henry Kenneth and Buena Vista (Fulton) Rainwater.

Doug graduated from Coopertown Excessive Faculty and College of Tennessee at Martin in 1950 and married Dorothy Ann Wilks Rainwater. After retiring as supervisor from the Nashville Oil Mill, Doug and Ann moved from Nashville to their farm in Springfield, TN the place he raised cattle and a backyard with recent Silver Queen corn, Bradley tomatoes, and October beans. He beloved vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce, particularly home made, and at all times carried black and white chapstick, a handkerchief, and peppermints within the pockets of his khaki work garments or black swimsuit and white shirt on Sunday. He stored a pony named Snuggles with a buggy for grandkids to journey, loved early morning Bass fishing with household on Kentucky Lake, watching outdated westerns, hen searching, and volunteering his time at Bellshire UMC and New Chapel UMC. Typically a prankster, he preferred betting “at all times 1 / 4” with nearly anybody – his most notorious being ” wager you may’t guess what I caught in my cage.” It was a skunk. Doug’s 9 grandchildren embody Julie McDowell (Ricky) Roberts, Lori McDowell (Vincent) Fiorentino, Eric (Melissa) McDowell, Jenny Raetzel (Mike) Cameron, John (Briana) Raetzel, Carrie Todd, Whitney Todd (Trey) Bollinger, Christie Rainwater (Tom) Greever, and Kellye (Luara) Rainwater. He was blessed with 15 nice grandchildren together with Connor Roberts, Brodie Roberts, Vince Jolly, Victoria Fiorentino, Ella Fiorentino, Elijah McDowell, Natalie Wright, Dylan Wright, Oliver Raetzel, Chloe Raetzel, Luke Lewis, Eleanor Lewis, Elizabeth Bollinger, George Bollinger, and Braxton Greever. His prolonged household contains stepchild, Karen Payne (Dave) Gomer of Hendersonville; step grandchildren, Jessica Payne (Justin) Poss, Christine Payne (Rodderick) Dobson, Alex Gomer, and Alyson Gomer (Zach) Martin; and step nice grandchildren, Brileigh Poss, Mason Poss, James Dobson, and Jessie Dobson.

Gwendolyn Sue Robertson Frey, age 89, of Springfield, TN concluded the ultimate chapter of her earthly life on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. She was met at Heaven’s gate by her husband Glenn M. Frey, dad and mom Belle and R.C. “Bob” Robertson, siblings Bobbie R. Roth and Lennis Robertson, and son-in-law Don Hollingsworth.

Born in Knoxville, TN, as the center baby to Belle and Bob, her childhood was spent moving into mischief together with her older siblings after which educating her youthful siblings these ropes. The tales they share are solely by accident handed down and at all times met with roaring laughter. After graduating from Fulton Excessive Faculty, the Robertson household moved to Paducah, KY, the place Sue started working as a phone switchboard operator and met her husband, Glenn. Mrs. Williams was born December 18, 1924 in Barren Plains, TN to the late Albert and Floy Gainous Johnson and was raised on the household farm. She began her profession on the Bell System after which went on to be a profitable Actual Property Agent in Florida. Mrs. Williams raised her household in Hollywood, FL and was an energetic member of Hollywood Hills United Methodist Church, and loved her function as a Sunday Faculty trainer. She beloved spending time with household in Atlanta and Springfield and loved touring, studying the newspaper, and watching sports activities.

Delphia was a loving spouse, mom, grandmother, aunt, and a real pal to all who knew her. Delphia was identified for her love of household and her kindness and generosity towards youngsters, grandchildren, prolonged household and pals all through her life. She shall be significantly missed by all.

Shirley Stewart Johnson, age 83, of Orlinda was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, October 16, 2022 after a prolonged battle with Parkinson’s Illness on the Waters of Gallatin. She was born November 16, 1938 in Orlinda to the late Carl and Hazel Stewart. She was preceded in loss of life by her brother Billy Stewart, sisters Mabel Stewart and Margaret Stewart Whitley, and toddler son Anthony Thomas Wilson.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dan Johnson of Orlinda; brother Charles (Margaret Ann) Stewart of Adairville, KY; daughter, Melanie (Chris) Jernigan of White Home; step-sons, Daniel Johnson of Johnstown, NY, Chris Johnson of Palmcoast, FL, and Greg Johnson of Questa, NM; grandchildren, Courtney (Ivan) Ati, Will (fiancé Becca Selner) Jernigan, Clint (Brooke) Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Chelsea (Jeremy) Brown, Jake (Madison) Johnson, Jarod Johnson, Jaden Johnson, and Jailyn Johnson; and 4 great-grandchildren and quite a few nieces and nephews.

Shirley was a graduate of East Robertson Excessive Faculty. She labored as a beautician for over 60 years and was a lifelong member of Orlinda Baptist Church. Shirley was a loving mom and spouse who spoiled her grandchildren with unconditional love. She loved spending most of her free time cleansing, purchasing, and cooking her well-known pies.
