Mrs. Porter was born June 4, 1922 in Orlinda, TN to the late Thomas Jefferson and Winnie Davis Wims. She labored as a secretary for the Tennessee State Actual Property Workplace and was a member of the Donelson First Baptist Church for over 70 years. All the time dressed to impress, “Dine” was an achieved seamstress, a world traveler, a lover of positive china, and a collector of many issues. She was a faithful daughter, spouse, mom, grandmother, and good friend. She was charming, enjoyable, and spunky. Her kindness and optimistic spirit radiated to everybody round her. She was cherished by everybody that knew her and she or he might be dearly missed.
