Officer Injured In Multi-Company Pursuit Of Suspect Via Robertson/Sumner Counties

MILLERSVILLE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn Information) – A Millersville police officer is recovering after being struck by a police cruiser after it was hit by a fleeing suspect Saturday evening.

Round 10:22 p.m. Saturday night Millersville Police have been dispatched the Owl’s Roost Campground positioned at 7267 Bethel Rd. MAP in Millersville.  It was reported {that a} feminine, who seemed to be intoxicated, was allegedly trying to enter varied automobiles and campers.

Millersville Police arrived on scene and witnessed a person matching the outline of the suspect strolling within the campground. When the suspect (now recognized as 39-year-old Stacey Leanne Akdemir of Spring Hill Tennessee) allegedly noticed the officer, she started working in direction of a white Lexus SUV. The officer gave verbal instructions for Akdemir to cease and he or she didn’t comply. Akdemir then allegedly entered the Lexus SUV, put the automobile in reverse and struck the Millersville Police automobile ensuing within the police automobile transferring and putting the officer who was standing subsequent to his police automobile.
