One Transported In Christmas Eve Rollover Close to Springfield

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn Information) – One individual was hospitalized after a pickup truck with two onboard left the roadway and flipped on Freeway 161 close to Springfield Christmas Eve.
The crash occurred round 9 pm on Hwy 161 close to the Hwy 431 intersection simply outdoors Springfield metropolis limits. LOCATION OF CRASH
The Tennessee Freeway Patrol is investigating the accident. Officers on the scene inform Smokey Barn Information that one individual was transported to TriStar NorthCrest Medical Middle in Springfield with what gave the impression to be non-life-threatening accidents, no additional particulars have been out there.
UPDATE: Based on the THP’s preliminary report, Christopher Sean Rocha, 47, of Bon Aqua TN, driving a 2018 Chevy Silverado, was touring west on Freeway 161 when he ran off the street (proper) into an embankment and overturned. Rocha (pending the end result of the investigation) was charged with DUI 1st and Possession of a Handgun Beneath the Affect. A passenger, now recognized as Peter Thomas Worden, 49, of Seattle WA, (pending the end result of the investigation) was charged with Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct.
Each Rocha and Worden have been transported to the Robertson County Detention Facility in Springfield. Rocha’s bond was set at $6.000. A bond quantity for Worden was not listed. Each have been launched.
North Robertson Hearth & Rescue, the Robertson County Emergency Administration Company, Robertson County EMS, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Workplace, and the Tennessee Freeway Patrol all responded to the scene.
