THP Identifies Rider In Saturday’s Deadly I24 Bike Crash
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn Information) – The Tennessee Freeway Patrol is releasing extra data on Saturday’s deadly I24 motorbike crash that claimed one life.
The crash occurred at mile marker 27 on I24 West (between Joelton and Nice View) simply after 10 pm. MAP The interstate was closed for a number of hours whereas the Tennessee Freeway Patrol investigated the crash. 
In keeping with the Tennessee Freeway Patrol, 57-year-old Sammie Ransom of Florida, driving a 2010 Honda GL 1800 motorbike collided into the rear proper of a 2021 Peterbilt, Tractor Trailer. In keeping with the THP’s preliminary report obtained by Smokey Barn Information, Ransom was on the appropriate shoulder, “improperly passing others” when the impression occurred. After impression, the motorbike slid off the shoulder and into the grass on the appropriate aspect of the interstate. Ransom didn’t survive the crash.
