TRAFFIC ALERT 49 Close to Coopertown Deadly Crash

COOPERTOWN TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn Information) -We now have a severe damage crash on HWY 49 between Sandy Springs Rd and Apache Path close to Coopertown. MAP

Officers inform Smokey Barn Information that the crash includes lack of life.

The crash includes a passenger automotive and a tractor-trailer hauling aluminum cans in a head-on collision.

The crash occurred round 8 am.

UPDATE:

The Tennessee Freeway Patrol is now releasing extra details about the crash and the identification of the gentleman that misplaced his life. The sufferer is recognized as Donald Griffin JR, 49, of Clarksville driving a 2004 Ford Fusion.

In response to the THP accident investigator, Griffin, touring North on Hwy 49, crossed the middle line in his Ford Fusion and collided head-on with the Tractor Trailer heading South. Griffin was pronounced lifeless on the scene. The driving force of the Tractor Trailer was not injured within the crash.

The roadway was cleared round 1:30 pm.
