Mr. Maynard was born August 6, 1949, in Portland to the late Luther C. and Clara Wix Maynard. He owned and operated Springfield Recycling Firm and was a member of the Springfield First Free Will Baptist Church. He beloved large equipment, accumulating vintage instruments, music and touring.

Along with his mother and father, Mr. Maynard is preceded in demise by his sister, Clara Dale Maynard, brother, Charles Maynard, and grandchild, Thomas Eric Maynard, and great-grandchild Leonidas Estrada. Mr. Maynard is survived by his spouse, Mary Anne Scott; kids, Jonathan (Tammy) Maynard, Michael Maynard, Sherry (Carlos) Estrada and Bo Maynard; siblings, Earl Maynard, Jimmy (Charlotte) Maynard, Danny Maynard, Annie Rawls and Clara Gail (Jerrell) Rawls; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
