Calvary Baptist Church in Greenbrier, Tennessee

Our Historical past…
Calvary Baptist held it’s first Service within the late 1940’s in a small White Church, which has now been bricked & renovated into the entrance of the Daycare. The report of the First Worship Service with Bro. Randy Pike as Pastor, was July 4, 1954. Pastor’s that aided within the basis of Calvary embody: Randy Pike, TD Corridor, Earl Dodd, Larry Ellis, William Hunt, Bobby Breeden, Stanley Epling, Smith Epling and Jerry Thrower.
June 12, 1989, Dr. Donnie Bryant turned Pastor. His first service had 13 in attendance. We now have over 150 in attendance throughout Morning Worship.
The Fellowship Corridor was accomplished in March, 1994 which now serves as workers workplaces && Sunday Faculty Rooms. The paved parking zone was added in 1998 together with the brand new Sanctuary being constructed. There was a Bible Institute held from September 2001 to Could 2004.
In April 2003,the church was in a position to buy the property behind the constructing. In July, 2003 Mother and father Day Out Started. December 29, 2004 the church voted to construct the Playground and Pavilion. What a pleasure to have a coated space for fellowship, meals and different packages.
2006 was an incredible 12 months. Calvary Christian Daycare & Preschool opened their doorways. The outdated sanctuary (the little white Church that started Calvary) was transformed to be used by the Daycare & as school rooms. They meet the wants of many households locally.
In 2011, we voted to construct an all objective constructing. In 2013 we completed what’s now the Gymnasium & Fellowship Corridor! In August, 2013 Upward Ministry started. This outreach program has grown yearly.
Every day we try to let God’s mild shine into the neighborhood by serving the individuals. We deal with God’s Phrase, The Holy Bible, which leads us alongside the trail. We hope that you’ll pray for us to satisfy these wants as we serve the Lord.
