New Telephone Rip-off Copies Sheriff’s Message System
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn Information) – Scammers are impersonating Deputies from the Robertson County Sheriff’s Workplace. The scammers are calling and leaving voicemails requesting a callback concerning an pressing authorized matter. When calling again, the perpetrators have copied the preliminary Robertson County Sheriff’s Workplace message system. As soon as in touch, the victims are suggested they’ve a warrant for his or her arrest.
The scammers are then telling the victims the warrant may be dismissed with over-the-phone funds, money, or reward playing cards. The Sheriff’s Workplace says that is completely a rip-off. “The Sheriff’s Workplace does NOT name demanding cash.” CONTINUED BELOW
